“ I was enjoying my lobster and it slipped out of my hands and fell on the floor. They were very sweet and actually gave me a replacement out of their pre cooked stock. Also the food was very delicious and the fish and chips were really well portioned. Go enjoy yourself asap. ”

Our whole table agreed it’s the best service we’ve had in a while. She checked in on us often and took the time to answer all of our questions, which we really appreciated as out-of-towners. “ Fresh seafood done right without pretension. Lunch or dinner - appropriate proportions matched to the time slot. Managed to sample lobster without a loan from an usurious lender. The haddock was finely breaded to prevent it from crumbling until it hit the palate. The service was excellent too! ”

The best evah!!!! My husband and I shared the seafood stuffed mushrooms and each got the steamed lobster, with steamers, linguica and corn. The absolute best seafood and still hot, after delivery to campground. We are considering eating at the restaurant, tonight and enjoying some Fresh Catch sushi, or other items! “ What a gem to stumble up on while headed home to NY!! This came up when looking for lobster rolls and we found so much more! Freshest cleanest fish purveyor I have ever been in...incredible selection of fish, prepared items and accompaniments- including some dessert options! (Attached restaurant looked great too!!) Our lobster rolls were packaged nicely to go...(Meat separate from roll to prevent soggy!) Fresh brioche roll, great Cole slaw on the side and a very nice portion of perfectly dressed lobster chunks. Delicious! Even after a 3 hour trip! Can't wait to come back!! ”
“ I’ve lived in NE (Rhode Island, Maine, Boston) on and off for 7 years (I travel for work and live in my location 3 months- 12 months a year). Yesterday I finally got back in NE after driving from the Midwest. I stopped here today after I got settled (lucky me it’s 5 mins from where I am staying). Maybe I just missed NE seafood, but this lobster roll was soooooooo good! 10/10. Might come back next week the potato salad was also pretty darn good! I had 2 different blueberry drinks, also 10/10. The real treat was not knowing there was a store next door with all kinds of seafood, sides and anything else you could want. I’ll definitely be back! The price was fair, the food was great and I enjoyed sitting at the bar as a solo female. Bartenders were attentive. Thank you for a wonderful seafood meal and being my first while being back in Massachusetts for work again. ”
“ The Fresh Catch restaurant in Mansfield was very very good food wise. The seafood platter that I had was awesome. It came complete with a fairly large fillet, both whole clams and clam strips, deep sea scallops and shrimp. It was also a good amount of onion rings and French fries. The seafood and onion rings were both lightly, golden fried. We did take home the highly touted carrot cake, do not waste your time on this bland, overly sweet dessert that taste nothing like carrot cake should. I rated the service 4 as our waitress also doubled as the barmaid. On a couple different occasions we had to wait for our waitress to come by. I didn't find the atmosphere very appealing as there wasn't really any ambiance to speak of. Also, when we walked in, they sat us right next to another table with two couples sitting at it when there were plenty of other empty tables in which to be seated. If they had sat us one table over; there would have been nobody on either side of us and would have afforded us more privacy. In restaurants for me, the food is the most important part in this food is awesome. Stick to the seafood and you won't go wrong. I would absolutely visit here again no questions asked. June 13, 2024 I just wanted to edit my previous review and change it to a five-star for the Fresh Catch in Mansfield. The food has been consistently excellent, especially if you like fried seafood. The Fresh Catch seafood is usually likely fried which is my favorite. I've also visited this establishment on a number of different occasions when the waitress (Candy) also doubles as the barmaid, but she has been on top of her game and very attentive. I often visit Fresh Catch around 11:30 when it initially opens. I bring a book and read in peace and quiet until my food is served.
